Amna Kakal (b. 2002) is a Visual Artist from Karachi, Pakistan and lives in Brooklyn, NY. She recently graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. In her current practice she pulls a lot of inspiration from landscapes in Karachi that cease to be about a specific place; rather, they are about a feeling, a way of remembering, a way of seeing. Through her work, she explores how beauty and discomfort often coexist within the same frame.
